After a record-breaking 2025 edition with over 1,400 festival goers, Spawn has made a name for itself as THE video game festival in the town of Angoulême.

Organised by Cnam-Enjmin, SO· Games and Magelis, the free family event will be making its return on Saturday 3rd October 2026 with an even richer and more surprising programme:

Lots of games to test: independent, original, unreleased games, virtual reality, challenges...
Talk with game creators
Round-table discussions and conferences open to the general public
Video game shows

This year, Spawn will be continuing late into the night with all-new Spawn Night from 8pm until midnight! More information about the programme will be coming soon.

Cnam-Enjmin has been invited, for the 3rd time, to present its students' video games at the Fantastic Pavilion on the Marché du Film at the Festival de Cannes.

The Fantastic Pavilion, dedicated to fantastic and genre film, is organised in partnership with the Méliès International Festivals Federation (MIFF), which brings together the main global events centred around these themes.

Join us from 16th to 18th May to talk with our team and try out these scary student games...

On Saturday 16th May, Aïda Del Solar, Head of Art and Creation at Cnam-Enjmin, will lead a conference to present the school and our students, who will then let you try out the games they have developed as part of their courses.

An Award-winning Alumna - 2026 Pégases Awards

We are extremely proud to announce that Lucie Dewagnier, a graduate from Cohort 12 (2015-2017) of our master's degree (Game Programming track), was a standout at the Pégases ceremony, which recognises key players in the French video game industry!

Her work as Lead Programmer and Game Director on "The Rogue Prince of Persia" was rewarded with the prize for Best Debut Game.

Beyond being a former student, Lucie is now a cornerstone of our teaching team as the Head of the Game Programming track for the master's programme. Her success is a testament to the excellence and passion that drive our community.

A big well done to the whole team behind Evil Empire for this impressive project.

French Polytechnical Schoo - University Fair

On Wednesday 13th May, the French Polytechnical School (École polytechnique) is organising the University Fair, an event dedicated to career guidance and helping engineering students choose the next steps in their studies.

The goal is to support students in building their academic and professional path. During the previous edition, 6 governing bodies, 15 international universities and 12 French higher educational establishments were present.

The University Fair is aimed mainly at 3rd-year engineering students who must choose their specialisation for the 4th year:

Enter a partner school
Join a major government technical or military body
Continue with a master's degree, either in France or internationally

The event is also for students on the school's Bachelor of Science programme, who are preparing to continue their studies either at master's level or as part of an exchange programme.

Cnam-Enjmin will be represented by:

A member of the Corporate, Institutional and International Relations Service team
Clément Tyminski-Pereira, an alumni and Polytechnician
Lucie Dewagnier, Head of the Game Programming track on the Master's degree in Audiovisual, Digital Interactive Media and Video Games

Cnam-Enjmin has been a receiving institution (école d'application) of students from the French Polytechnical School since 2020: each year, we take on Polytechnical students in the second year of the master's degree who choose our school for their 4th year.

Festival of Geek Cultures in Brittany - 2025 Breizh Galaxy Games

The Iridescent team, made up of 2nd-year students on the JMIN Master's degree, took part, for the very first time, in the Breizh Galaxy Games, which was held on 22nd and 23rd November 2025, following their participation in Stunfest.

Open to the general public, the fair is open to families, teenagers and children alike, and offers an accessible programme of activities open to all gamer profiles.

For this third edition, the Breizh Galaxy Games has been innovating with a space dedicated to independent games, in addition to the traditional tournament and retro game spaces.

The fair welcomed over 4,000 visitors and has been punctuated by many different activities: blind tests, cosplay with a show, Mario Kart competition, Smash Bros, Fifa, with some matches being streamed on Twitch.

The event was also an opportunity to meet and talk with independent developers, as well as former students.

Team members from Iridescent presented Cnam-Enjmin and different video game professions, helping to raise awareness among the public about courses and professional careers in the sector.

8th edition - Digital Animation Festival

The 8th edition of the Digital Animation Festival will be held on Saturday 14th March 2026 in Nagoya, Japan. Organised by Digital Animation Tube, the free event features a film competition and several conferences on the artistic and technical aspects of animation and digital creation.
The goal is to promote interactions between amateurs and professionals of digital creation.

The association, Digital Animation Tube, works to promote digital content industries and software, all while supporting media arts and the development of creative culture.

Most notably among its members and partners are: Acquire, a studio that worked, among others, on Mario & Luigi: Brothership; Exsa, specialised in CG3D production and involved in the 3rd season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba; and Ysotar Pictures.
Educational institutions, such as Nagoya Zokei University and Nagoya Kogakuin Technical School, are also part of the association.

On the programme: David Elahee, Educational Leadership and Engineering Manager at Cnam-Enjmin, will present a pre-recorded lecture on production design in an independent game approach. Drawing on the examples of Death Tower, FuryBall and Fretless, he will analyse the impact of creative choices and of defining a quality target audience, particularly within the Headbang Club, on production organisation and game development training, through reference documents and creative discussion dynamics.
