2020 Calendar
- Admission subject launch: February 7, 2020

- Written tests: 16 May 2020 (9am-5pm) online (or at the Cnam-Enjmin, Angoulême)
- Oral Admissions online : June 12, 2020 (3pm)
- Oral examinations: from 1 to 3 July 2020 (Cnam-Enjmin, Angoulême)
- Admission to the Master's program is now online : July 6, 2020 (3pm)
Due to the specificity of the training, both technical and artistic, a recruitment procedure is set up to evaluate the knowledge and motivation of candidates in the field of games and interactive media.
Whatever your status, your home institution, your nationality... you must follow each step of the procedure described below.
To apply for the Master's degree
Level required and justifications to be provided
Required level: 3 years of higher education: justification to be provided mentioning precisely the title of the training and the level. Only school certificates will be accepted.
- If you don't have a bachelor's degree, you can apply for the Validation of Professional Acquired Skills (VAP)
- If your degree is not recognized, you can apply for a Graduate Studies Validation (VES)

Creative brief
To work on the creation of a game based on a given subject.
The aim of this dossier is to show an interest and a capacity for reflection, innovation or creativity on the problems of interactive media in relation to the speciality requested.
It is therefore not a technical exercise on a video game project.

The candidate has complete freedom of interpretation of the subject as long as the relationship to the work is explicit.

Deposit must be made online
You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt by e-mail to confirm that we have received your application and that it is admissible as soon as all the files have been studied.
If we need further information, we will contact you directly by email.
Your application will then be examined by a jury of teachers.
Administrative file
- An information sheet will have to be completed online
- You must then send to Cnam-Enjmin (138 rue de Bordeaux - 16000 Angoulême - FRANCE), by 20 March 2020 at the latest (postmark as proof), a cheque for 85€ made out to AG Cnam Nouvelle-Aquitaine, noting on the back your first name, surname, candidate number and the code MR130.
WARNING: If you wish to apply for 2 courses, you must put together 2 creative files and provide a cheque for 170€.
If your application is successful
The list of eligible candidates for the written tests that take place online (in case it is not possible to take the tests online, we will organise a session in our premises) on 16 May 2020 (9am-5pm) will be posted on our website on 30 April 2020 (3pm).
The tests are:
- Analysis of linear or interactive audiovisual works
- English test
- Technical test according to the chosen courses
Note to candidates residing outside metropolitan France: the exams will take place in a single session from 9am to 5pm (UTC/GMT +1 hour).
If you pass the written tests
The list of oral admissions will also be put online on 12 June 2020 (3pm).
You will be invited by email for an oral interview (15 to 30 minutes) which will take place in Angoulême between the 1st and 3rd July 2020.
If your oral interview is conclusive
The list of candidates admitted to the master will be put online on July 6, 2020 (3pm) and you will receive a confirmation by email afterwards.
Once this email has been received, we will send you your application form mid-July 2020.
International Applicants
We welcome applicants from all over the world.
Foreign students living in one of the 46 countries with a Campus France local office must register in the "Études en France" platform as part of the pre-consular procedure for visa application.
Please note Cnam-Enjmin has its own application procedure. All national and international applicants must register to our competitive entrance exam.
To qualify applicants must:
• Follow the "Études en France" procedure (if applicable)
• Succesfully complete Cnam-Enjmin's competitive entrance exam
• Obtain a comparability statement from the ENIC-NARIC France Center confirming that they hold, at least, an EQF – European Qualifications Framework level 6 diploma (paid service, maximum processing time for your file: 4 months)
• Prove a B2 level in French
