If you have a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent OR if you are a professional with more than 3 years in the video game industry, you are welcome to apply to our Master's degree program.

2023 Key Application Dates & Deadlines
- December 15, 2022: the 2023 "Creative Application File" Subject will appear online
- January 26, 2023 (3 p.m., Paris time): deadline to submit your "Creative Application File" as well as your administrative application
- March 14, 2023 (3 p.m., Paris time): list of applicants admitted to the written tests
- April 1, 2023: written tests
- April 25, 2023 (3 p.m., Paris time): list of applicants admitted to the oral examinations
- May 11 to 17, 2023: oral examinations
- May 30, 2023 (3 p.m., Paris time): final shortlist of successful candidates
Due to the specificity of the training, both technical and artistic, a recruitment procedure has been set up to evaluate the knowledge and motivation of candidates in the field of games and interactive media.
Whatever your status, your home institution, your nationality, etc., you MUST follow each step of the procedure described below (in addition to the Campus France procedure for foreign students).
Applying to the Master's degree
Level of education required and supporting documents to be provided
Required level of studies: a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent (applicants who have studied abroad must present a comparability statement from the ENIC-NARIC France Center)
- If you don't have a Bachelor's degree you may apply for a Validation of Acquired Professional Skills (VAP)
- If your degree is not recognized by ENIC-NARIC you may apply for a Validation of Higher Education Studies (VES)

"Creative Application File"
The aim of this creative application is to show an interest in and an aptitude for thinking, innovation and creation based around interactive media issues as they relate to the track being applied for, all in connection with the proposed subject.
There are no restrictions on the nature of the proposal: video game, cross-media work, Alternate Reality game, digital toy, interactive installation... or the nature of the platform envisaged (board game, game on PC, console, mobile phone or any mixed form).

Online Application only. As soon as all documents submitted have been reviewed you will receive an acknowledgement of receipt to confirm the registration of your application. In case we need more information you will be contacted by e-mail shortly.
Your "Creative Application File" will be examined by a panel of Cnam teachers.
"Administrative Application File"
- An information sheet will have to be completed online
- There are no applications fees
If your "Creative File" application is successful
The list of eligible candidates to the remote written tests taking place on April 2, 2022 will be posted on our website on March 15, 2022 (3 p.m. Paris time).
The written tests consist of:
- The analysis of a linear or interactive audiovisual work
- An English test
- A Technical test according to the chosen track
If you pass the written tests
The list of candidates admitted to the oral examinations will be published online on April 25, 2022 (3 p.m. Paris time).
Applicants will be invited for an oral interview (15 to 30 minutes) taking place in Angoulême between May 16 and 20, 2022.
If you pass the oral examination
The list of candidates admitted to the master's degree program will be published online on May 30, 2022 (3 p.m. Paris time).
Successful candidates will receive an e-mail confirmation afterwards as well as a registration form from mid-June 2022 onwards.
International Applicants
We welcome applicants from all over the world.
Foreign students living in one of the 65 countries with a Campus France local office must register in the "Études en France" platform as part of the pre-consular procedure for visa application.
Please note Cnam-Enjmin has its own application procedure. All national and international applicants must register to our competitive entrance exam.
To qualify applicants must:
• Follow the "Études en France" procedure (if applicable)
• Succesfully complete Cnam-Enjmin's competitive entrance exam
• Obtain a comparability statement from the ENIC-NARIC France Center confirming that they hold, at least, an EQF – European Qualifications Framework level 6 diploma (paid service, maximum processing time for your file: 4 months)
• Prove a B2 level in French
