Government Support Plan for Apprenticeships renewed in 2024

New hiring support for apprentices is being given to companies for 2024.

To encourage companies to continue to hire employees who have an apprenticeship contract, the French government will be giving a financial support package of €6,000 for all contracts signed by 31st December 2024 at the latest for all companies of at least 250 employees, and with certain conditions for companies with more than 250 employees.

The Benefits of Apprenticeships

  • You benefit from additional human resources to support or develop your projects.

  • At the end of the training, you have the opportunity to continue the collaboration by recruiting a 100% operational employee.

  • You pass on your company’s image and expertise by training young people and adults to improve their employability (in 8 out of 10 cases, work-linked training leads to permanent employment).

  • You benefit from the financial advantages associated with this type of employment contract.

  • The apprentice provides you with up-to-date knowledge of your profession.

  • A 45-day trial period during your time with the company.

  • The apprenticeship contract can be terminated at any time by mutual agreement and at no cost to you.

Cnam's Commitments

  • Inform you about the specific features and advantages of apprenticeship training contracts.

  • Help you to define the profiles of apprentice students and the objectives they are assigned.

  • Offer you pre-selected apprentice students who meet the training prerequisites.

  • Provide you with tools and dashboards for monitoring the tutorial relationship.

  • Manage the apprenticeship, motivation and dispute resolution.

  • Provide you with a single point of contact, the academic tutor, to support the relationship with your apprentice students.
