Call for Applications XR-CREATIVE Residency #4

Magelis et le Cnam-Enjmin lancent la 4e saison de la résidence XR-CREATIVE à Angoulême, résidence d’écriture qui vise à faire émerger des projets narratifs innovants, s’appuyant sur les technologies immersives et interactives. 

Magelis and Cnam-Enjmin are launching the 5th season of the XR-CREATIVE residency in Angoulême, a writing residency aimed at developing innovative narrative projects based on immersive and interactive technologies. 

The residency is open to all authors of French-language projects, enabling them to finalise their script and refine their creative intentions. The aim is to develop a project already structured around a strong idea and an existing script, and to refine its graphic, sound and interactive universe. At the end of the residency, the participants are expected to produce a document describing the project, a finalised script and all the information needed for pre-production or prototyping.

This includes works of fiction and museum pieces.

During their residency, authors will have the opportunity to meet a number of professionals from Angoulême's image industry. They will be assisted by volunteer students from Cnam-Enjmin: Visual Artists, Sound Artists, Game Designers, Programmers and/or Ergonomists.

In March 2027, the authors will be invited to take part in Immersity in Angoulême, where they will have the opportunity to present their pitch to producers.

4 authors will be hosted for a 3-week residency from 6th to 24th July 2026.
