How to validate my experience?
Cnam-Enjmin offers two different schemes for you to validate your professional experience
Validation of Skills and Experience (Validation des acquis et de l'expérience, VAE)
The VAE scheme is a means to obtain a diploma, certificate or other qualification on the basis of experience gained through previous professional, volunteer or trade union activities.
This experience has led you to acquire skills and a certain degree of autonomy or responsibility in a given professional domain (management, administration, human resources, IT, industry etc.). Through the VAE scheme, we will check if your knowledge and skills correspond to all or part of those required for a professional certification (diploma, bachelor's, master’s, PhD, engineering degree) or an institution-specific diploma.
The VAE scheme is open to any person, irrespective of age, nationality, social status and level of education, who has been in employment or in unpaid/voluntary work, either permanently or intermittently in a field relevant to the chosen diploma.
Candidates may only apply for the VAE scheme once per calendar year for the same qualification. For different qualifications, no more than three applications per calendar year may be submitted.
Please note that it is possible to make a group application to the VAE scheme with Cnam-Enjmin. The idea is to encourage career development in the interest of companies, branches or professions (by helping employees to obtain a qualification, encouraging mobility and enabling career change). Each participant must file the request individually, even if the action is part of a collective process.
Validation of Personal and Professional Skills (Validation des acquis personnels et professionnels, VAPP)
The VAPP scheme allows candidates to access a programme at Cnam-Enjmin without needing to have the specified entry requirement diploma. This is due to the fact they have acquired an amount of skills through, through either professional or personal means, that equates to this entry requirement diploma. For example, it allows applicants to access a bachelor's degree without having a baccalauréat or equivalent high-school diploma.
