Incubation Programme of Video Game Projects

When Cnam-Enjmin moved into the Nil Building, the new premises allowed the school to set up an ‘incubation programme’ called all4GAMES. As the name suggests, the aim was (and continues to be) to support and nurture the creation of video game studios, particularly those piloted by our students.

For several years now, we have been deeply supporting these creative students and entrepreneurs.

The incubation programme is backed by several different entities, both local and national.

• Cnam incubator, an incubator programme created by the Cnam institution.
• EurekaTech Innovation and Technology Hub in the Charente Department, which provides us with financial support.
• La Compagnie des Martingales, a new company that works in the designing, development and diffusion of video games and interactive media. This partnership means that we can offer a full range of possible productions (co-production with the authors, production only by the authors, or production without the authors).

Each studio part of the all4GAMES programme has access to personalised mentoring from SpielFabrique, a European programme to help start-ups and young entrepreneurs in the gaming market.

The incubation programme provides students with material support (office space, PC equipment, basic services…), advisory support through the workshops organised by the Cnam incubator and a support programme from EurekaTech Innovation and Technology Hub.

We have taken the support one step further by asking our teaching staff to advise our studios in person

In order to increase the activities and strengthen the services offered, we wish to increase the links that our incubation programme has with other incubation programmes and companies in the video game industry.

To date, our incubation programme has enabled several studios to set up in Angoulême and has helped create multiple jobs.
