Student Community Life
Cnam-Enjmin's Student Office
Cnam-Enjmin’s student office is called le BDE (Bureau des étudiants). It supports and promotes student life at the school through a variety of activities and areas of expertise.
During the first week of the academic year, le BDE organises an integration week which combines discovering the town of Angoulême, sports and festivities.
It organises celebratory events marking important events during the school year, including the master students' induction, Enjmin Game Conferences, master students' leaving, end of year, etc.
Le BDE organises fun activities, runs the student common room, takes part in volunteer classes and arranges various themed evenings (Murder Party, Board Game Evenings, etc.).

Learn French
Cnam-Enjmin, in partnership with Alliance Française de Bordeaux Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Magelis, offers French classes at the Nil Building.
These classes are open to international students, employees of animation and video game studios, and authors.
Depending on the number of people who register, there will be different groups for different language levels. More information can be found here.
Note: Students on the International Master's degree benefit from French classes included in their programme.
Living in Angoulême
Angoulême is located in the south-west of France in the Charente Department, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region. Angoulême is known as the world capital for all things comic strips, which has led to it being recognised as a UNESCO Creative Town in the literature category. It is an averaged-sized town with nearly 110,000 inhabitants.
The town beats to the rhythm of its many different events organised throughout the year: Angoulême International Comics Festival (literature, January), Festival Musiques Métisses (music, June), French-Speaking Film Festival (cinema, August), Circuit des remparts (car race, September), les Gastronomades (cookery, November)…
Angoulême has much to offer in terms of culture: The Comic Strip Museum (Cité internationale de la bande dessinée et de l’image), Angoulême Theatre, La Nef (hall for modern music), Alpha Library, Conservatoire Gabriel Fauré (music, dance and theatre), Fonds Régional d’Art Contemporain…
There are several sports clubs located in the town. The following directory (link in French) lists a large number of them (non-exhaustive list). A few examples of sports activities: Nautilis (swimming pool and ice rink), indoor climbing (Bloc Spot), fitness gyms (Basic-Fit, So’Fight, Forme Up…).
