Useful information

Nowadays, it is impossible to design a game without having someone on the team whose role is to represent the player's experience.

Ergonomists are there to represent the player in the development process. They will guide the choices based on the state of the art in psycho-cognition, but also set up tests to obtain information on what is understood by the players.

The school has a playtest room equipped with cameras, gaming machines (computers, consoles, etc.) and various sensors (pulse and perspiration sensors, etc.), enabling them to work in real-life conditions.

Important note: in September 2026, only Game design, Game programming and Game art will be available.

Project-based learning

Students are trained in a collaborative environment, learning to work together and coordinate even if they come from different backgrounds.

Several projects are carried out throughout the 2 years: 3 projects of increasing scope (nano-project, first-year mini-project and second-year project), workshops (“included and connected” workshop, “art and game” workshop with art students from ÉESI, etc.) and course projects (at least one project per teaching unit).

These projects are specifically designed to foster, nurture and grow their creativity.

Aïda DEL SOLAR, artistic director of the master's program, and Antonin FOURNEAU, multimedia artist, are part of the teaching team, helping to instill a spirit of creativity and technique.

Advantages

Teaching team

Half of the teaching staff are researchers and the other half are professionals.

This enables students to have both a field-focused vision from the professionals and a broader perspective from the teacher-researchers.

For each specialization, there is an academic manager and a professional manager, who together coordinate all course content.

PhD

If students so wish, they can pursue a doctorate: Cnam-Enjmin can welcome them for a doctorate directly after the Master's degree.
