Yesterday, today, tomorrow...

2001

The history of the Cnam-Enjmin began in 2001 with the creation of a common diploma between the Cnam and the Poitiers and La Rochelle universities: the DESS video games and interactive media; also the result of a collaboration with the International City of Comics and Images and the Cnam Poitou-Charentes.

2004

It continued in 2004 with the creation of the Master's degree in Video Games & Interactive Media (JMIN), co-accredited by the same institutions, and the move to the International Comic Strip City bulding.

2005

At the request of the video game industry and on the decision of the Prime Minister, Jean-Pierre RAFFARIN, Enjmin became a Cnam institute in 2005.

2011

A Post Master's Degree in Interactive Digital Experiences (MS IDE) has been created, in partnership with GOBELINS.

2014

The computer engineering diploma in digital media science and technology (STMN), renamed Engineering degree in Computing and Multimedia (IEM), opens in collaboration with CFA Sup Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
Cnam-Enjmin moves into new offices at Le Nil.

2020

The BA in Computer Science (LIJV) opens in collaboration with CFA Sup Nouvelle-Aquitaine.

2023

Cnam-Enjmin is one of 68 winners of the ‘Grande fabrique de l'image’ call for projects under the France 2030 plan.

Thanks to this financial support, the Cnam-Enjmin will be able to implement an ambitious development project:

  • Creation of new public post-baccalaureate apprenticeship courses with innovative teaching methods (courses delivered asynchronously): game design bachelor's degree and digital art for video games bachelor's degree.
  • Creation of around fifty distance learning modules for lifelong learning
  • Doubling the number of students in the master's programme by expanding internationally
