Over recent years, the leaps and bounds in technological advances mean that they require constant monitoring.
Today, it is essential for sound professionals to be trained in object-oriented mixing and to understand the problems of real-time sound spatialisation. This is because these practices are used in the industry with virtual or augmented reality simulators, in architecture with virtual tours, in museography with 3D reconstructions and in many other sectors. The possibilities are truly endless.
