The rebirth of the Nil
The building was originally a paper mill located on the banks of the Charente River.
It was named after the River Nile (in French of course!).
After a long renovation, Cnam-Enjmin boarded the Nil in 2014 in a fully renovated 4,200m² space.

Environmental protection
The building has a green living roof for better insulation and rainwater management. The building's centralised management optimises the use of the heating systems.

Mœbius poster
Jean Giraud, alias Mœbius or Gir, was a legendary comic book artist and author. Alongside the scriptwriter Jean-Michel Charlier, he created the famous western comic strip ‘Blueberry’.
For the opening of Cnam-Enjmin, Mœbius created a poster which reads Rejoignez la Communauté (Join the Community).
