Eligible candidates will be admitted once their apprenticeship contract has been signed.
Expected
The course is an apprenticeship, so it is aimed at candidates who are capable of integrating into the professional world, passing a job interview and finding a job very quickly.
To do this, they must have a career plan, have identified companies that interest them (and not just one or two big names in the sector) and have already created at least one computer programme to enable them to pass any technical tests that their future employers are likely to ask them to take at job interviews.
They must have a good level of English, at least reading, speaking and writing.
High school courses
It is preferable, but not compulsory, to have a scientific and technical background (mathematics, numeracy and computer science).
Other options are of course possible, depending on the extra-curricular activities (for example, if the young person programmes in their free time).
Recommended baccalaureate specialities :
- Digital and Computer Sciences
- Mathematics
- Engineering Sciences
- Physics and Chemistry
In all cases, an interest in computer programming will be essential and must be verifiable (first practice in class or as a hobby).
Would you like to apply for direct entry to the 2nd year?
To enter L2, you must have completed at least 60 ECTS in computer science.
- If you are applying for parallel admission to the second year: attach your diplomas (baccalauréat and higher education diplomas). If you are preparing for your degree, attach your last two report cards.
- The jury will take into account your skills in relation to the first year of our JV pathway degree (see details of the first year degree programme).
This will be assessed on the basis of your professional references.

Selection criteria
Academic results
Overall averages and teachers' comments (seriousness, regularity of work, autonomy) on report cards are taken into account.
Academic skills
Programming skills (Python or another language) are crucial, as they guarantee the school that the student understands the job he or she will be doing for the next three years. They must be demonstrated by the presentation of a portfolio or playable projects.
Know-how
The ability to work in a team, to be autonomous and to solve problems is a crucial quality for success on this course. Punctuality at interview is also taken into account.
Motivation
The candidate's motivation, which is reflected in their knowledge of the course they are embarking on, the Cnam-Enjmin school and the cultural and creative industries sector, is crucial in finding a company. Candidates who have already started looking for a company are particularly favoured.
Project's coherence
Applicants whose career plans are consistent with the course (gameplay programming, immersive experience programming, development of multimedia devices such as mobile applications). As the degree is an IT course, it is aimed primarily at students who want to use programming to create.
Commitments, activities and interests
Particular attention is paid to ensuring that students have a balanced lifestyle, including sports and artistic activities, varied interests and group experiences.
