Awareness Day: ‘Chemical Submission and Gender-Based and Sexual Violence’

At a time when education about emotional, relational and sexual matters is becoming a national priority in France, the INSPÉ (National Higher Institute for Teaching and Education) of l'Académie de Poitiers is organising an awareness day about a little-known phenomenon: chemical submission.
This event is centered around the screening of the documentary Soumission chimique, directed by Linda Bendali (France 2, CAPA, 2024). The documentary will be shown, after which a round-table discussion will take place, bringing together the director, audience members, researchers, volunteer campaigners, as well as professionals in the fields of education, care and justice.
- 9:30am - 12pm: Session for High-schoolers and students
- 2pm - 4:30pm: Session for High-schoolers and students
- 6:30pm - 9pm: Session open to everyone (free entry provided there are remaining seats)
The event will take place in Cnam-Enjmin's lecture theatre on Thursday 5th February.
