As part of our partnership with Maquinitas - Ventana Sur, Cnam-Enjmin has been invited, for the 2nd time, to present its students' video games at the Fantastic Pavilion on the Marché du Film at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.
The Fantastic Pavilion, dedicated to fantastic and genre film, is organised in partnership with the Méliès International Festivals Federation (MIFF), which brings together the main global events centred around these themes.

Stéphane Natkin, founder and former director of Cnam-Enjmin, will be taking part in the conference From Telling Stories to Playing Stories which will be held on Thursday 16th May from 5pm to 6pm at the Fantastic Pavilion.
This conference, hosted by Daphné Lora, Head of the CNC's Attractiveness Department (French National centre for Cinema and the Moving Image), will also feature, alongside Stéphane Natkin:
- Samuel Castro, Director of Iberseries
- Antoine Cayrol, Co-founder of Atlas V
- Adrien Larouzée, Head of Digital Project Management at ARTE France
- Jacinto Quesnel, National Director (Digital Arts programme) at the Tec de Monterrey University (Mexico) and promoter of Maquinitas
Stéphane Natkin and Aïda Del Solar, Head of Art and Creation of the Master's degree at Cnam-Enjmin, were part of the jury who selected 3 of the 4 finalist projects from the Let's Spook Cannes competition organised by the Fantastic Pavilion.
The 4 projects will be on display at the Video Game Lounge Showroom (16-20th May, 9h-18h, Riviera J1, Palais des Festivals)

Ventana Sur is the largest film and television market in Latin America.
The Film Market and the Instituto Nacional de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales (INCAA) launched Ventana Sur in 2008, and it has rapidly become a major market for audiovisual content in Latin America.
This market brings together all the different members in the audiovisual industry to promote the co-production, financing and international distribution of Latin American content.
The previous edition took place from 27th November to 1st December 2023 in Buenos Aires (Argentina).
Maquinitas is a section of Ventana Sur dedicated to video games, with the aim of promoting production and building bridges between film, television and video games.
