A student who has successfully taken a training course or validated an experience leading to being awarded the title of a qualified engineer from an authorised school.

This authorisation required by the school to deliver such titles is obtained from la Commission des titres d’ingénieurs (CTI) (Commission of Engineering Degrees).

Their diploma equates to a master’s level diploma, which is the internationally recognised norm of studies at level Bac+5.

2025/26 Apprenticeship Fees
Tuition fees are paid by the employer and the apprentice receives a small salary, all with the framework of the apprenticehip contract.
Students must pay the CVEC fee (Student and Campus Life Contribution) of €105. This is mandatory for all students enrolled on a programme in a public or private higher education institution in France.

Assessment Methods
- Academic ECTS credits: continuing assessment, final exam, oral defense presentation, projects, practical work classes
- Professional ECTS credits: semester approval from the company, engineering thesis
Degree Awarding Conditions
In order to be awarded the Engineering degree, you must obtain/complete:
- Academic ECTS credits
- Professional ECTS credits
- International Task
- Engineering thesis
- B2 level of English (TOEIC ≥ 785)
Validation of Experience
This diploma is open to the Validation of Experience schemes. Depending on your academic and professional background, three options are available:
- Individual Validation of Skills and Experience (VAE) to obtain the diploma
- Validation of Personal and Professional Skills (VAPP) to access the degree course
- Validation of Higher Educational Studies (VES) to be exempt from certain course requirements
