Fired Up! wins the Jury Prize for the Best Gaming Design

Fired Up! has received the jury prize for the Best Gaming Design at the Battle Campus 1.6 Awards ceremony, which takes place every year in Angoulême.
This game is a project completed by first-year students on the Master's degree in Video Games and Digital Interactive Media (Cohort 18 / 2021-2023).

Battle Campus 1.6 is co-financed by CROUS (regionally-based, national university administrative body), the University of Poitiers and the SCCUC (Services et Culture des Campus Universitaires de la Charente, or in English, Services and Culture for University Campuses in the Charente Department).
This 2nd edition, organised on Thursday 6th April 2023 at Lycée Marguerite De Valois, aimed to highlight and award projects, artistic qualities, citizen engagement and present-day (or future) initiatives of students in 12 different categories for 24 different awards. The goal is to identify local initiatives and create a festive and creative event for the students at a departmental level. It's an event that takes place every year.

This free evening was open to students from all 29 SCCUC courses and establishments. Each student who entered a competition received a prize (a ticket to a show, a book voucher, a culture pass, a Terre de saveur gift voucher, etc.). All students and non-students were welcome to attend this festive programme and were actively encouraged to cheer on their peers!
