'Jeux dans la ville' Workshop #12 ÉESI x Cnam-Enjmin

Every year, Cnam-Enjmin and ÉESI bring together 120 of their students for the workshop "Jeux dans la ville" ("Games around town").
For this 12th edition, which will take place between 19th and 23rd February, ÉESI students from the DNA2 programme (Diplôme national d'art, Cohort 2) and Cnam-Enjmin students from the Master's degree in Video Games and Digital Interactive Media programme put on their hiking shoes and work in mixed teams on a section of the Sentier Métropolitain de GrandAngoulême (a network of hiking paths in and around the town of Angoulême).
This trail, which is in the shape of a clover leaf, includes 4 loops and extends over 120km. This shape allows different parts of the Angoulême urban area to be linked together: valleys, different neighbourhoods... This creative approach aims to encourage people to discover fun and original places around the town. The students will be led by 2 artists from Angoulême: Antoine Schmitt, an important figure in the field of digital art, and Hortense Gauthier, artist, performer, poet and curator.
The 10 projects will be on display along the trail Friday 23rd February from 10am to 5pm. Members of the public will be able to test the interactive experiences.
