Crous University Restaurant (Resto'U le Nil)

Cnam-Enjmin's Nil Building hosts once of the three university canteens in Angoulême managed by Crous (Centre régional des œuvres universitaires et scolaires), Resto'U le Nil.

Opening times

  • Open for lunch from Monday to Friday from 11:45am to 1:30pm
  • Closed for dinner and at weekends but possibility to take a 2nd meal at midday and put it in a tupperware (there is a fridge available in the Cnam-Enjmin student common room)

Prices and payment

  • Resto'U le Nil works on a "Points Menu" system. 6 points equal €3.30 for students, or €1 for students with grants or those who are in a delicate financial situation (link in French). A meal is equal to a minimum of 6 points, with each additional point costing €0.55. Each student can what they want to eat.
    • Starters: between 1 and 2 points
    • Main meal (including vegetarian): 4, 5 or 6 points
    • Cheese and dairy products: 1 or 2 points
    • Desserts: 1 or 2 points

izlyPayments are made with Izly, a digital wallet which you top up. It is available on your student card or on the mobile app.

Around Cnam-Enjmin

  • Restaurant/Bar Le Nil: Located in the same building as Cnam-Enjmin, the restaurant offers student set meals at midday as well as sandwiches.
  • Various food trucks in front of the Comic Strip Museum (musée de la BD).
  • St Cybard area: there are several restaurants and bakeries located in the rue de Saintes.
  • Different schemes organised by the SCCUS (Charente Campus Services & Culture) for students:
    • Social and Solidarity Local Shop (Épicerie sociale et solidaire): on Tuesdays (only available via certain conditions). The shop can be found in the Nil Building.
    • Local Fruit and Vegetable Boxes: on Tuesdays at the Local Shop (only available via certain conditions).
    • Meal Bowls (must sign up) delivered on Friday evening to the Local Shop (available to all students without any conditions)
    • Recipe book to help you cook at home
  • The Too Good To Go app to fight against food waste: pick up some unsold products from partner restaurants/cafés/bakeries at very small prices.
